Worn out after a full weekend !!

There is not much to say for these pictures. My baby's are WORN OUT !!! I do have to say one thing I guess and that is that God has blessed us with the BEST kids ever !! I am not sure why He chose to give us the best ones out there but He truly did. We love them both so much , we are so proud of them , treasure them and know that God has got such great plans for them. They both love the Lord, have a desire to learn more about Him, they love each other .... hummmm what can I say they bring the joy into our family.

Naval Museum

The Naval Museum was so much fun. I am not usually one to enjoy Museums but this one was a BLAST we were there for over six hours and still didn't do everything or see it all. They have a IMAX with " Fighter " Film, simulators, jets you can play in, and so much to learn. The kids were so good, they had a blast and asked if we could come back again!!! It was just amazing.

More From Muesum

Jacob and Kaylie got to sit in one of the old Blue Angel jets, boy did they think that was cool. Brendon and I think that we found the BEST guy for when Kaylie is ready to date. He is a bit old and so that makes him rather stiff , and he cant really move very fast so we told her she would be allowed to hold his hand now:) Kaylie wanted to take a picture of Brendon and I , she did a good job ( though this is the only one of me you will see so take a good look cause I will be taking it off shortly ) We had such a blast at the Museum, lots to learn , fun things to see and we even go to go into a simulator and take a ride with the Blue Angles!!

Frozen Yogurt Time !!!

After a hard day shopping and on our way to the next activity we decided to stop by T.C.B.Y S and get some frozen yogurt !! Jacob as you can tell really enjoyed his, and as you can see I think we all liked our treat !! Next stop , US Naval port for a night stay and a trip to the Naval Museum !!!!

Our mini vaction

Our first stop was in Foley Al. about 3 hrs. from our home. We stayed two days and one night . Of course what kind of parents would we be if we got a hotel with no pool. So Sunday morning we all decided to have some fun.( we all needed a good break) Jacob and Dad needed a break from the water so they took a short nap!!! Kaylie is my swimmer and never got out of the pool. Then they all went for a ride on daddy!!

A few of my treats

I love to cook and bake , Brendon has his buddy's over once a week to study, so I cook for all four of them and our family and desert ofcourse has to be a part of our meal. My sister got me a gourmet cook book with a bunch of cool deserts. The one with the cherry's on it is a Black Forest Gateau, then there is the White Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Layer Cake, then there is the Double-Decker Butterscotch Brownies, and the Kaylie's birthday cake which she has called the " sleep over" cake. My food has to have extraordinary taste and has to look beautiful for me to be happy with the way it comes out !!!!

On the way to School

Just was thinkin my baby girl looked very nice today so before we headed off to school we took some pictures. Then we have my "monkey " hangin out in the tree !!! Kaylie only has about two more weeks of school after this week. I can not wait for school so she can be home and we can do things together , I sure do miss her when she is at school. Can't imagine what I am gonna do this fall when both my baby's are in school. I think I will be in their classes a couple times a week helping out !!!!!

Track & field Day

Kaylie had her track and field day this past Friday !! She did very well, although I didn't really care for how they had the thing set up. The kids weren't allowed to pick what they wanted to compete in , that was up to the " Coaches " ( whom couldn't run a mile it their depended on it ) so the kids were told what they were in , but having said all of that Kaylie's team got two second places so we were very excited. Kaylie has run a mile with me twice now, this week we are going to time her to see what her time is on one mile!!!!We will let you all know
